About This Spot

Stepping into Finney's Crafthouse in the heart of Orange, you immediately sense a space crafted for lingering moments and easy conversation. It’s the kind of spot where the pace slows just enough to sink into the comfort of spirited company, whether you're nestled indoors or soaking up the California sunshine on the patio. The atmosphere strikes a balance between lively and laid-back—laughter from games of skee ball gently blends with the buzz of multiple screens lighting up local and national sports.

Finney's feels like a neighborhood gathering place, a reliable destination where the familiar hum of friendly chatter and clinking glasses fills the air. The bar draws a diverse crowd, from those unwinding with a thoughtfully mixed cocktail to friends drawn in by a lineup of beers almost as varied as the food. Here, no matter the hour, there’s a sense of unpretentious warmth, making it easy to settle in and lose track of time.

The menu reveals the kind of curiosity that delights without overwhelming. It mirrors the rich texture of the setting—an all-day playground of flavors where twists on classic comfort foods invite sharing and conversation. Casual yet carefully crafted dishes—from crispy shrimp tacos to loaded tots layered with bacon and cheese—beckon with familiar notes, each bite promising a small surprise. It’s the kind of place where indulging in a crunchy Bavarian pretzel or a plate of truffle fries feels like a natural extension of the atmosphere’s laid-back charm.

More than just a meal, the experience at Finney's includes the sensory rhythm of the room—the steady hum of conversation, the occasional cheers from the bar area, and the playful energy that fills the space between sips of a guava margarita or a bourbon smash. Whether gathering with friends, catching a game on one of the many screens, or unwinding after a long day, Finney's offers a welcoming pause—a place where the casual art of good company and good food unfold naturally.

Stopped in during the international street fair. Was perfect to get out of the heat and enjoy a cold drink. There is also a variety of food choices, I settled with the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. Hit the spot, while sipping on a cold Blonde beer. No wait, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Great place to watch sports, there are televisions everywhere.

Very tasty Poke bowl and Shrimp tacos. Service is not fast, but worth the wait. Comfortable relaxed atmosphere played Skee Ball while we waited.

Finney's is a great local spot for American comfort food, refreshing beers, a lively atmosphere, and sports watching. It offers spacious dining inside, a patio, and a large bar with multiple TVs spread around the restaurant. There are a couple of skeeball games in the back, and Happy Hour is from 3 to 5 pm with plenty of menu options. I've been here a few times, and it's always been pleasant with delicious food. Service and staff have been good and attentive. Reservations are accepted, but we haven't needed them the last couple of times we've visited for lunch or dinner. I think this is best for larger parties and specific seating requests. FOOD: I love the variety of the appetizers and entrées here. - Onion Ring tower - beer battered and not too greasy. The three dipping sauces are great, too. - Bavarian Pretzel is warm and soft with salt, but the dipping sauce is just okay. The cheese dip and sweet mustard weren't that great. I ended up enjoying this with plain mustard. - Mahi Mahi Tacos - I had this grilled, and it was delicious. The house-made tortillas and fresh ingredients worked well. The salsa sauce was nice too. - Prime Rib Cheesesteak is also a tasty option that's flavorful - Cesar salad was just average - Grilled Chicken Club - Any of the burgers are good too! - Birthday dessert! Overall, I'm a fan of Finney's and hope to visit again soon!

Absolutely amazing. This place has some of the best food I’ve ever eaten before. It was my first time and it just so happened to be happy hour. Their happy hour menu is quite lengthy and full of wonderful options. We were pretty hungry so we decided on avocado egg rolls, burger sliders(the best I’ve ever had in my entire life thanks to the mini Hawaiian rolls), carnitas nachos, and parmesan fries. Our server was great and we had a great time thanks to the lively atmosphere. I hands down recommend this place to anyone interested in going.

Great menu with lots of diversity...there is something for everyone. We usually go with 3 to 4 people in our party and often share because that allows us to try more of the menu and we have always enjoyed each and every item we have selected from the menu. Beer selection is great...almost as large as the food menu. I have always had good service at all of the Finney's I have been to for lunch or dinner... Orange, Brea and Camarillo. Great restaurant!! I would highly recommend you try it...you will not be disappointed.

Great spot for food and to grab a few brews. According to our waiter, most of the Finney’s beer selection are brewed by Brewery X, which turns out to be a great surprise. We love Brewery X! The food was yummy and the smash burger smells like it came out of McDonald’s. F, for a fantastic time! The outdoor patio is great too as it has a grass area for the little ones to play. It just so happens to be the same grass area all the dogs pee on…

The atmosphere was vibrant and enjoyable. The food was satisfactory but had room for improvement. The chicken club sandwich was flavorful, though the chicken breast was significantly smaller than the bread. It would be better to either resize the bread or enhance the portion of chicken. Our server was capable and attentive; however, he rushed us to close out at the end of our meal because he was finishing his shift, which was a bit off-putting. Despite this minor inconvenience, I still had a pleasant visit and would definitely return.

stopped by Finney’s craft house yesterday, and loved it. Big screen tv’s everywhere, big comfy booths, full bar with good selection of craft beers. Also very nice outdoor dining area also with tv’s to watch a good game. unfortunately, i didn’t have a lot of time to hang out here due to a prior commitment but i was able to really enjoy their bbq chipotle wings with a cold pizza port chronic amber beer. The combination of bbq and spicy chipotle was delicious. I definitely plan to return here to try many other of their tasty food like the cheesesteak egg rolls or their mini lobster rolls, flat bread pizza. They are only a few blocks away from the orange circle antique mall, as well as other great mom and pop clothing stores.
